Sweet & Sour Marinade for Pork (from doTERRA website)
This recipe is straight from doTERRA. I love using Wild Orange essential oil in cocktails and food. Plus, it’s a great mood lifter and energizer! Don’t forget, I’m using essential oils that are edible, based on doTERRA’s formulations. Using another brand of essential oils could lead to ingesting oils not meant for consumption.
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup light brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 drops Wild Orange essential oil
Mix all of these together and marinade a pork tenderloin, pork chops, or even a ham! Grill or smoke as desired. Enjoy!
