I’m not afraid to say this.

There is a lot of unnecessary showcasing that goes on in the world of Network Marketing.

“Wow, Kacie. That’s a bold statement to make, don’t you think?”

Sure, it is a bold statement to make… but sister, it’s also a truthful and necessary one.

You see, for the most part, most MLM’s method of operation is stuck in the 1990s (or before). The way it was talked about and promoted back then simply doesn’t work for us now.

In today’s culture, you will impress no one by showing off your shiny new car, posting about your new rank on social media, or blowing any other kind of smoke-up people’s uh-huh… at least not for the long haul.

Now, more than ever, people need and want the real and raw of why you do what you do.

Do you know what we call this?

We call it vulnerability.

The future of the network marketing industry is desperate for people to stop showing off… and start showing up

This type of vulnerability can’t help but take root when you have a sense of heart-felt conviction about the business you’re in and the company you represent. The way you speak and behave will show the authenticity of your motive and intent.

In order to personify a genuine vulnerability in an industry that is often misrepresented, don’t be afraid to question the norms that surround it.

And when you do that, you’re going to stir the pot, ruffle some feathers… aaaaaand, maybe even make a few enemies. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya’, sister.

BUT, at the end of the day, you will discover that you have attracted the right kind of people you were meant to be partnering with.

When you open yourself up to this type of real and raw vulnerability, you will discover new possibilities and opportunities for lasting growth and rewards in your business.

For a long time, vulnerability has gotten a bad rap. Many associate it with negative stereotypes like being too emotional, weak, or fragile. I say, “bull crap”.

Brene Brown says it best…

“Vulnerability – it sounds like truth and looks like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they are never a weakness.”

Yes, sometimes vulnerability may feel weak on the inside… but it cops a strong and courageous ‘tude on the outside.

Now go, sister… be real, be raw, be YOU. Let’s start an authentic movement together that will create a fresh, new perspective of the industry we all love.
